A/P Status

Due to popular requests, Capella started reformulating certain popular flavors to eliminate any trace of diketones. Though we have never used Diacetyl in any formulations, some flavors contain Acetoin and/or Acetyl Propionyl. Reformulations of popular flavors began in 2016 with the introduction of the V2 or Version 2.

To ensure we are meeting our customer's needs, all flavors that do not contain A/P or have had it removed have been sent to 3rd party, Certified Laboratories, Inc., for testing. You can review the Certificates of Analysis from Certified Laboratories for all flavors that have been tested below. If you are curious about a flavor but don't see it on the list, please reach out to our Customer Service team at [email protected]

Please note: * an asterisk preceding the flavor name indicates results that are higher than the threshold of A/P tested for. Since we do not use any Diacetyl, Acetoin, or Acetyl Propionyl in the flavor formulation then the compounds are either naturally occurring (through an extraction process) or there is a false positive detection.
